The measurements of the cushion inners are taken when the cushion is FLAT. Due to the deep fill of the cushion, it is recommended that you buy a cushion inner a couple cm larger than the cushion cover it is intended for to give that plump and luxurious look.

Cushions are measured along each side NOT diagonally.
