For engine blocks and cylinder heads, Hycote Gloss Black Engine Enamel provides a 400ml high temperature coating formulated for demanding engine bay applications. It is suitable for many areas of water cooled engines and combines colour with a self-priming, one-step application.

The finish is gloss black and offers corrosion protection with resistance to petrol, oils and greases. This enamel is intended for areas where high-temperature properties are required. It should not be used on applications where those high-temperature attributes are unnecessary or on surfaces that need subsequent overcoating with an alternative coating.
