The upper uses a rubber composition of 80% natural rubber, 15% white fillers and 5% other. The material withstands temperatures down to -20° Celsius. Over time, natural rubber can develop a white surface as essential oils reduce; monthly treatment with oil is recommended to help maintain the finish.
