Manufactured from injection moulded nylon thermoplastic, it is designed to withstand extreme impact and abrasion, while remaining flame retardant for added reassurance in challenging working environments.

Each socket is 100% tested to IEC60900, Category C and ASTMF1505. ITL tools are also 100% tested using 1000 volts for 3 minutes while submerged in water, supporting confidence in consistent insulation performance. For work across varied conditions, it is Category C impact tested for operation within a greater temperature range of -40ºF to +158ºF (-40ºC to +70ºC). A lifetime guarantee covers both the tool and its insulation.
