For treating rusted metal before painting, Jenolite Rust Converter Liquid uses a water-based formula that reacts with rust to form a stable surface. It creates a barrier against water vapour, oxygen and carbon dioxide, helping to prevent further rusting while leaving the treated area ready for overpainting.

Suitable for application by brush or spray, it turns rust into a black or purple surface and can be painted directly with most modern paints, including water-based and oil-based finishes, without a primer. The treated surface can also be left as it is. Made in Britain.
