A 15mm pile depth works into the soles of shoes and boots to trap dirt and absorb water, helping to keep surrounding floors cleaner for longer. JVL also makes this mat fully biodegradable, with the natural coir disintegrating within one year and the latex compound within five years, subject to soil conditions.
