Kuhn Rikon Classic Induction Casserole

Designed for everyday cooking, the Kuhn Rikon Classic Induction Casserole combines practical handling with robust 18/10 stainless steel construction. Suitable for use on the hob and in the oven, it’s a versatile choice for soups, casseroles and curries, as well as vegetables, rice and potatoes.

Bakelite handles provide a comfortable grip for lifting and carrying, while the vented ovenproof glass lid helps retain heat, flavours and aromas and lets you keep an eye on progress. A thick, fully encapsulated impact bonded base is designed to absorb and spread heat efficiently, and an all-round rolled pouring lip supports neater serving.

Use and care

• Remove all packaging and labels before wetting, then clean with hot, soapy water and a soft cloth to remove residue
• Hand wash and dry the pan and lid before first use
• If washing by hand, use hot, soapy water; soak first for stubborn burnt-on stains
• Clean gently with a nylon brush or scourer and avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scourers
• Avoid dragging across a glass-topped hob
• Match the pan diameter to the hob ring and heat gradually rather than using high heat immediately
• Use silicone, wooden or metal utensils; avoid sharp implements such as knives or electric blenders in the pan
• Handles stay cool on the hob provided gas flames are not licking up the side
• Use oven gloves when removing from the oven and place pans on an oven shelf rather than the oven floor
• Remove limescale marks with a little lemon juice or vinegar
