Designed for everyday cooking, the Kuhn Rikon Classic Plus casserole combines durable stainless steel with a practical glass draining lid. With a 3.7L capacity and 20cm diameter, it offers a versatile size for regular family meals, while the thick base supports even heat distribution during cooking.

Pouring is made simpler thanks to spouts on both sides, making it comfortable to use for both right- and left-handed cooks. The glass lid features side openings for draining without an extra sieve, with smaller holes suited to rice and larger holes suited to pasta and potatoes. Ergonomic bakelite handles are designed to stay cool, and the smooth stainless steel finish is easy to clean.

Use and care

• For normal soiling, clean with ordinary detergent
• For intensive soiling, scale and/or discolouration, use a chromium steel cleaner such as Swiss Cleaner
• Abrasive cleaners can damage the surface
• Dishwasher suitable, though washing by hand is recommended
• With regular dishwasher washing, synthetic fittings may lose their shine and aluminium may oxidise or corrode
• Do not remove stuck food with sharp objects such as knives, steel wool or scourers
• Remove limescale with vinegar or lemon juice
