The formula includes salts of lactic acid and gluconic acid, absorbed by the skin as components of its natural moisturising factor and used here as hypoallergenic moisturisers. Plant-based prebiotics, including inulin and oligosaccharides, help maintain the balance of the skin milieu by supporting the growth of bacteria associated with healthy skin while limiting the growth of harmful bacteria, helping to strengthen the skin barrier and improve moisture balance.
