Cold-pressed flax seed oil in Lamberts Flax Seed Oil 1000mg provides a vegan alternative to fish oils, with 680mg of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and 122mg of linoleic acid (LA) per capsule. The formula also includes vitamin E, and the oil is enclosed in opaque capsule shells to protect the ALA from oxidation during the shelf-life of the product.

Each capsule contains flax seed oil that is 68% ALA by weight. Alpha linolenic acid contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels, obtained from a daily intake of 2g of ALA. The oil is cold-pressed and produced without the use of hexanes or solvents.
