Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle No 27 75cl NV

Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle No 27 is a Champagne built through assemblage rather than a single declared vintage. This release combines three vintages: 65% from 2012, 25% from 2008 and 10% from 2007, drawn from specially selected plots across eight Grands Crus. Chardonnay accounts for 58%, sourced from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant and Avize, with 42% Pinot Noir from Tours-sur-Marne, Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzy.

Aged on the lees for 10 years before release, it opens with crystalline, honeyed notes of candied peel, ginger and quince, alongside an understated seaside character. The palate is bright and precise, leading into a long finish with orange zest, lemon drizzle cake, ginger syrup, umami richness and a hint of grapefruit pith.
