From Magura Zamfirei, Muma Rye Pure Spirit is a rye-based spirit distilled from rye grown in Teleorman and bottled at 40% ABV. The rye is cultivated on the producer’s own fields, then harvested, sorted, cleaned, milled and fermented before a three-stage distillation process that includes activated charcoal filtration.

Clear and colourless in the glass, it has a notably pure profile with wildflower and vegetal notes on the aroma and floral, vegetal character on the palate. World Drinks Awards judges praised its exceptionally clean style, noting green pepper, dill, cucumber and a subtle hint of olive oil.
