A closed-cell surface helps keep moisture and bacteria at bay for easier post-class clean-up, while Manduka’s proprietary dot pattern is designed to hold the mat in place on the floor. The medium grip, preferred by teachers, supports smooth transitions between postures; if you’re practising warm or sweating, Manduka recommends pairing it with a towel to absorb moisture and increase grip. Made in Germany from PVC, it is 100% latex free and backed by a lifetime guarantee.

Care

To store, roll Manduka PRO mats with the top side (fabric-finish) facing outwards to help keep the corners flat. The surface texture improves with use; to speed up breaking in, try the salt method, and use a towel on the surface if you experience slipping.
