Marcy’s Acceleron exercise bike gives home cycling a quieter, more controlled feel. Built around an electromagnetic resistance system with 16 electronically adjusted levels, it allows quick changes in intensity through the console rather than manual adjustment, while the quiet belt-drive system keeps each session smooth and unobtrusive.

An LCD console and 12 built-in workout programmes add structure to regular training, with readouts for time, speed, distance, calories and pulse. Comfort is well judged too: the saddle adjusts vertically and horizontally, the handlebars can be repositioned, and oversized pedals with adjustable straps help create a secure riding position. A heavy-duty steel frame supports users up to 125kg.
