Handmade from 100% pure cocoon silk, the Âme Pure So Silky Mitt is a reusable body exfoliating glove woven using a traditional Turkish Hammam technique. Used with warm water only, it offers a non-scratchy way to lift away dead skin cells and remove old self-tan.

When wet, the fibres swell to create a firmer grip across the skin, helping to catch and roll away surface build-up with long strokes. Suitable for all skin types, it can be used across the body as part of a weekly routine.

How to use

• Soak in a warm shower or bath for at least 5 minutes; do not apply soaps or lotions
• Wet the mitt and squeeze out excess water so it is slightly damp
• Step out of the water and exfoliate damp skin using long upward and downward strokes until dead skin rolls away
• Avoid open cuts and inflammation; do not use on the face
• Rinse the skin and rinse the mitt with water, wring out and hang to dry; do not machine wash
• Use once or twice a week and replace every 8 weeks
