Meinert La Berry Sauvignon Blanc 2025 75cl

From Meinert in South Africa’s cool-climate Elgin region, La Berry 2025 is a white wine built around Sauvignon Blanc, with a small proportion of Semillon and old vine Chenin Blanc for added texture. The fruit is handled in several ways to build complexity, including whole-bunch pressing, 24-hour skin maceration, and immediate pressing before the components are recombined.

The palate shows elderflower, citrus and crunchy mange-tout pea pod notes, supported by a vibrant, rich-textured mid-palate. It works well on its own or alongside food, while further age brings deeper mineral and flinty flavours.
