From Meinert in South Africa’s cool-climate Elgin region, La Berry 2025 is a white wine led almost entirely by Sauvignon Blanc, with a small proportion of Semillon and old vine Chenin Blanc adding texture. The fruit is handled in several ways before blending, including whole-bunch pressing, 24-hour skin maceration, and immediate pressing after crushing to build complexity.

The profile is bright and expressive, with elderflower, citrus and crunchy mange-tout pea pod notes supported by a vibrant, richly textured mid-palate. It works well on its own and also suits the table, while further age brings deeper mineral and flinty character.
