Martin Meinert’s The Italian Job 2020 is a white wine made from Merlot grapes, inspired by examples from Ticino in the Italian-speaking south of Switzerland. Produced by pressing the grapes promptly and keeping the juice separate from the skins, it offers an unusual expression of Merlot with the texture and depth associated with barrel-fermented Chardonnay.
