Breathable Engineered Mesh and TPU Upper

The upper has been constructed from an ultra-lightweight engineered mesh to deliver highly breathable comfort. It allows fresh air to flow in whilst heat and vapour are forced out, keeping your feet pleasantly cool. Zonal TPU provides structure and durability, whilst an abrasion-resistant toe cap protects your feet from knocks and scrapes out on the trail. A gusseted tongue keeps dirt and debris out of the shoe, whilst a padded collar provides a soft, plush feel. The recycled mesh lining further increases ventilation, and reflective elements ensure visibility in low light so you stay safe and seen. The recycled self-locking elastic laces (with lace keeper) lock in the midfoot for confident, secure strides. The upper has also received a Cleansport NXT treatment for natural odour control, meaning your feet will remain feeling and smelling fresh.

FloatPro Foam Midsole

The midsole is constructed from Merrell's FloatPro foam. It offers lightweight, durable comfort, cushioning your feet as you put in the miles. It attenuates shock, protecting your joints as you strike down and converts the energy into rebound. This helps to propel you forward, helping you run further, faster, with less effort. The midsole also features FLEXconnect technology for optimised ground contact. This is a flexible two-way stretch midsole which allows for great levels of agility, perfect for technical trails where you need to be nimble on your feet. Underfoot, a 100% recycled mesh-covered footbed provides highly breathable additional cushioning.

The outsole of the Antora 4 features Quantum Grip. It is a highly durable rubber compound that forms a solid bond with the ground beneath, allowing you to cut and turn with confidence. It is highly reliable, even in the most extreme of trail environments. The multi-directional lugs dig into the ground for advanced traction, helping you get the best of slippery, muddy tracks.
