From Minerva’s Core Range, this BCI Stretch Woven Cotton Poplin is a light-to-medium weight dressmaking fabric with a smooth, tightly woven surface and a crisp yet manageable handle. Finished in a plain black colourway, it offers a clean, versatile look that works across a wide range of makes, from everyday staples to more detailed projects.

Made from 97% BCI Cotton and 3% elastane, it combines breathable comfort and a natural-fibre feel with comfortable stretch and recovery. Well suited to shirts and blouses, it also lends itself to day dresses, children’s wear, quilts and cosplay costumes where a neat finish and ease of movement are important.
