Handmade in Crete, the Koronios terracotta pot by MONETA UK brings together traditional craftsmanship and substantial scale in a form inspired by ancient Greek storage jars. Shaped by hand from mineral-rich Cretan clay and fired at high temperatures, it is frost-proof and made to sit confidently in gardens, courtyards and landscape schemes.

Its broad, rounded body, strong shoulders and narrow base give the pot a grounded profile that works well with large shrubs, small trees and structural planting such as agaves and olives. It can also be used as a sculptural feature in its own right, while the natural terracotta surface will develop a soft patina over time. Each piece is handmade, so variations in tone, shape and surface markings are part of its character.
