Within a few minutes, the solvent carrier flashes off and the lubricant thickens into a strong, grease-like coating on all parts. This clear film is described as highly tenacious, with anti-fling properties intended to help it stay in place even with fast chain movement, supporting reduced chain and sprocket wear during use. For routine maintenance, a light treatment is recommended, and excessive application should be avoided.
