The opening is an exuberant swirl of fruit and sweetness, blending notes such as cotton candy, coconut, cassis, melon, bergamot, pineapple and mandarin orange, softened with jasmine. As it develops, a rich heart of honeyed fruits and florals emerges, with red berries, blackberry, plum, apricot and peach alongside orchid, rose and lily-of-the-valley, lifted by warm spices including caraway and nutmeg. In the base, Angel settles into its famous gourmand depth: patchouli meets chocolate, caramel and vanilla, rounded with tonka bean, amber, musk and sandalwood.
