New Order 'Substance' is a 2LP black vinyl compilation, originally released via Factory Records. It brings together the band’s singles up to that point in their 12” versions, alongside specially new recorded versions of ‘Temptation’ and ‘Confusion’. The set includes ‘Blue Monday’, plus key singles such as ‘The Perfect Kiss’, ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’ and the debut single release ‘Ceremony’.

The album is the band’s biggest selling to date, with over one million copies sold, and it went platinum in the UK. It also includes the Top 5 hit ‘True Faith’, accompanied by a video directed by French choreographer Philippe Decouflé. This 180g 2LP collection includes all the band’s singles from the original 'Substance' album.
