Tips & Tricks For Removal

The best way to safely remove the press on nails without damaging your natural nail is to use Acetone. You can either fill a small glass bowl (not metal or plastic) with a couple of inches of hot water (this is called Bain-Marie). Then place another smaller bowl filled with Acetone inside it. Buff the nail down using our NYK1 Professional Nail Block Buffer and once the acetone is warm, place your fingers into the bowl for about 5 minutes to soak. Buff the nails again if needed and place your nails back into the Acetone for a further five minutes.

Or alternatively you can use our NYK1 Professional Nail Block Buffer to buff the nail down, soak a cotton pad in Acetone and place each cotton pad over the top of your nail. Tear a piece of foil and wrap the foil over the cotton pad so that the cotton pad stays in place allowing the Acetone to soak the nail. Wait for 25-30 minutes. Pull the foil gently, and the acrylic nail should come off with it.

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with ALL skin, eyes and fabrics. Seek medical attention immediately if accidental bonding occurs. If contact with fabric occurs, apply water immediately. If fingers become bonded, soak in warm soapy water or acetone.
