Compact and multi-functional, the Oregon Scientific VR383 digital voice recorder combines everyday recording with practical presentation tools. Alongside a 136-minute recording time, it includes a red light laser pointer for lectures and demonstrations, plus an integrated alarm clock and speaker for added convenience.

A built-in microphone supports voice-activated (Vox) recording to help conserve memory during silent gaps. Playback can be enjoyed through the supplied mono in-ear earphone, while recording flexibility is extended with support for an external microphone, including a high quality lavaliere microphone. File management is kept simple with 2 folders, each holding up to 99 messages, and useful controls such as mic sensitivity settings and index marking during recording.
