Designed for secure, fuss-free swaddling from day one, the Ergobaby Cocoon Swaddle Bag offers a zip-up alternative to traditional wrapping. This 2.5 TOG swaddle is intended to keep baby snug and securely swaddled, and can be used on its own in room temperatures between 15–21℃ / 59–69℉ with no blankets in the bassinet or cot. A 1.0 TOG-rated chest area helps prevent overheating while allowing full chest expansion when breathing, and parents can layer underneath as needed for warmth.

Made from and filled with GOTS certified organic cotton, with elastane in the outer fabric and bamboo in the lining, it is designed to be firm enough to help restrict the startle reflex while still allowing stretch and movement. The stretch also lets baby move hands into a self-settling position inside the swaddle. A zip enclosure helps protect delicate skin, while arm poppers allow an easy transition from an arms-in swaddle to an arms-out sleeping bag when baby shows signs of rolling. The bell-shaped design is approved by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as hip-healthy, and a two-way zipper supports quick nappy changes with minimal disruption.
