With an abundant floral bouquet and soft, woody accents, Oscar by Oscar de la Renta was inspired by the lush gardens of Santo Domingo, filled with the intoxicating scent of ylang-ylang blossom. Unmistakably feminine and joyously fragrant.

Oscar by Oscar de la Renta opens with a rich and intense combination of floral notes, balanced with warm, spicy elements that create a sophisticated and sharp profile. Its complexity evokes elegance and timeless femininity, making Oscar a fragrance for women who appreciate a classic, assertive scent with depth and character. This fragrance has been reformulated in the past few years and now has top notes of bergamot, clove, coriander, cascarilla, basil, peach, orange blossom and gardenia warming to a heart of iris, jasmine, tuberose, ylang-ylang, may rose, lavender, orchid, broom, lily of the valley, galbanum and honey. At its base is clove, sandalwood, amber, myrrh, patchouli, opopanox, vetiver, castoreum, oakmoss, cedarwood, musk and ambergris.

The perfume was designed by Serge Mansau. It celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2007.

Top notes: Basil, peach, gardenia, orange blossom, coriander, clove and bergamot.

Heart notes: Jasmine, orchid, lavender, tuberose, rosemary, iris, rose and ylang-ylang.

Base notes: Opoponax, lavender, patchouli, amber, sandalwood, musk, myrrh, vetiver, cloves and coconut.

How to Apply:

Apply it to your body warmest points, such as crease of your elbows and wrists that intensifies longevity of the fragrance.

Avoid rubbing after application as this will reduce the longevity of the fragrance.
