For interior wooden floors and furniture, Osmo Polyx-Oil Original Hard Wax Oil provides a clear finish with a subtle satin shimmer that brings out the natural character of the wood. Formulated from vegetable oils and waxes, it is suitable for a range of interior timbers including oak, pine, spruce, beech, ash, alder, Douglas fir, birch and larch.

This high solid floor and furniture oil has a microporous, breathable finish that does not crack, peel or flake. It is water, dirt and abrasion resistant, and offers protection against scratches, scuffs and common liquids including juice, tea and wine. It also resists saliva and sweat and is suitable for children’s toys.

Care and maintenance

• Strip old finishes and fill imperfections before application.
• Sand the surface, wipe clean and apply a thin coat.
• Allow 8-10 hours drying time before applying a second coat.
• No sanding is needed for spot repairs or future applications.
