From Otway & Orford, the ‘Victory at Last’ pocket square is a medium-size silk design in green, black and gold, created in collaboration with artist John Ketchell. Inspired by Aston Martin’s outright win at Le Mans in 1959, the semi-abstract artwork captures the drama of the moment while remaining true to its subject.
Printed in Macclesfield, the traditional home of English silk printing, the design is reproduced with care to achieve a balanced look between the printed and reverse sides. A pale green border frames the image, finished with a skilfully hand-rolled and hand-sewn ‘shoestring’ hem in racing green. Sized to suit most fashion-led men’s tailoring with a smaller top pocket, it offers a considered finishing touch whether folded neatly or styled with more volume.
Material: 100% Mulberry silk (16oz silk twill)
33cm x 33cm
Dry clean only. Avoid pressing the hand-finished hem to preserve its distinctive ‘shoestring’ shape.
