Oxford Livewire Superslic Gear Cable

Designed for consistent, low-friction performance, the Oxford Livewire Superslic Gear Cable uses stainless wires that are cold drawn for a superior finish. By pulling the wire through a die, the surface is flattened to help reduce friction, supporting smoother shifting and braking over time. During the drawing process, oil is forced into the gaps of the wire and gradually released, helping to lubricate the casing for longer-lasting smooth operation.

Because the Superslic range relies on this die-drawn finish rather than surface coatings, there is no coating to rub off through friction, helping your outer cables continue to run smoothly. The wires are also pre-stretched to provide a more direct feel at the controls.
