Live TV can be paused and rewound, while the twin HD tuner allows two programmes to be recorded simultaneously in high-definition quality, helping when schedules overlap.

Series Recording makes it easy to keep up with regular broadcasts by automatically recording registered TV programmes each time they air. Operation is kept quick with high-speed start-up, with faster access to functions such as the electronic programme guide (EPG), Direct Navigator and the disc tray. Stored media can also be played back from an external hard disk drive via USB, supporting music, photo and video files on drives up to 2TB using NTFS or FAT32 formats.
