Paper High Medium Brown Embossed Notebook

From Paper High, this medium brown embossed notebook is handmade using a blend of contemporary and traditional techniques, then bound by hand for a finish designed to stand up to everyday knocks and bumps. The leather cover is made using a by-product of the meat industry in India and is tanned with natural dyes, then protected with natural oils to help it soften and age over time. Embossed detailing is created with small handmade tools, making each piece unique; the pattern may vary from the one pictured.

Inside, you’ll find unlined pages made from handmade khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi). Crafted from recycled, unbleached cotton salvaged from waste in the Indian garment industry, the paper is acid-free with a lightly textured, thick feel that suits writing, drawing, or painting. It works well with ball-point pens, gel pens, and watercolours, but is not recommended for fountain pens.
