Permatex Supra Blue reliable Gasket Maker 80ml

Permatex Supra Blue Gasket Maker is supplied in an 80ml tube and formulated for high-torque and high vibration applications, including those common in import engines. This premium RTV gasket maker is OEM specified and exceeds manufacturers performance requirements.

The formula is sensor-safe, low odour and non-corrosive, with resistance to oils, cooling fluids and shop fluids. It offers a temperature range from -70C to 260C intermittent. It is not recommended for use on head gaskets or parts in contact with gasoline.

How to use

• Clean and dry all surfaces with a residue-free solvent before application
• Cut the nozzle to the desired bead size; gaskets are best formed using a 1/16" to 1/4" (2 to 6 mm) bead
• Apply a continuous, even bead of silicone to one surface and surround all bolt holes
• Assemble parts immediately
• Finger tighten bolts until material begins to squeeze out around the flange, allow to dry for one hour, then retighten 1/4 to 1/2 turn
• Dries in 1 hour and fully cures in 24 hours
• Allow more time in cold or very dry conditions
• Replace the cap after use
• Clean hands with a dry cloth or Permatex Fast Orange Hand Cleaner
• Clean tools with nonflammable cleaning fluid
