Petromax 17L Cooler Backpack

From Petromax, the Cooler Backpack is a 17-litre cooler backpack designed for electricity-free cooling with ice cubes, keeping food and drinks fresh for up to 6 days on the road. With a maximum capacity of 8 kg/17 l, it’s built for independent outdoor trips where you want reliable chilled storage without relying on power.

Comfort is prioritised with back padding, a chest strap and individually adjustable shoulder straps, while a carrying handle and two side handles help keep the backpack upright when you’re on the move. Access is via a waterproof zip, and the water-repellent nylon fabric with dirt-repellent surfaces is designed to protect against leakage from melted water. For camp set-ups and longer journeys, a built-in bottle opener adds a practical finishing touch.

Storage is thoughtfully arranged with a large waterproof front pocket, two large waterproof side pockets and two mesh pockets, plus loops, carabiners and elastic straps for attaching accessories. The interior compartment is stated to measure 8°C even after 6 days, and it can hold 6 x 1-litre bottles upright, plus a pack of ice cubes and a 0.33 l or 0.5 l six-pack of beer.
