Petromax Atago Griddle Plate

Designed as a traditional Spanish-style plancha, the Petromax Atago Griddle Plate brings versatile outdoor cooking to your Atago all-rounder. Crafted from 3 mm thick, oiled steel and made in Germany, it creates distinct temperature zones across the surface, so you can sear in the hotter centre while keeping vegetables or prawns warm towards the edge.

Once the fire is established, the plate heats up quickly for fast searing. A central opening allows you to replenish wood or charcoal without removing the plate, keeping cooking uninterrupted. Over time, a patina develops that provides a natural non-stick effect and enhances with every use; the plate should be carefully seasoned before first use. Integrated handles make it easy to carry to your barbecue spot and remove after cooking, allowing the Atago to continue as a central fireplace.
