Petromax Fire Stand

From Petromax, the Fire Stand is a practical cooking accessory designed to sit on a chimney starter, helping you make use of the rising heat while charcoal or briquettes are lighting. Made up of two parts that connect quickly at the centre, it creates a stable, cross-shaped support for cookware, so you can start frying ingredients in a pot or pan or prepare hot drinks such as coffee in a percolator or tea in a teakettle while your fuel comes up to temperature.

Once assembled, the stand is placed onto the chimney starter using the ready-made cut-outs, creating a convenient heat source for early-stage cooking and a supportive surface for your cookware. When you are not using it over a starter, it can also be used as a traditional trivet for pots and pans.
