Petromax Scraper for Dutch Ovens and Skillets

From Petromax, this scraper is designed to help lift stubborn cooking and frying residues from hard-to-reach areas of Dutch ovens and fire skillets. Shaped to adjust to the inside of Dutch ovens, fire skillets and loaf pans, it cleans cast and wrought iron without attacking the valuable patina.

Made from food-safe polypropylene (PP), the scraper is heat-proof up to 120 °C (248 °F). Its versatile form also allows it to be used as a dough scraper or spatula for dividing dough into portions, making it a practical addition to your kitchen kit alongside your cookware.

Care

Allow the pan or pot to cool, soak in warm water, then remove burnt residues with the scraper. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning, then dry cast-iron cookware completely and season as usual before storing.
