Philips brings familiar CD listening into a more flexible format with the TAZ2000 CD Soundmachine boombox. This portable CD player combines disc playback, FM radio and wireless streaming in one compact unit, with support for CD, CD-R and CD-RW formats for a wide range of music collections.

Alongside its digital FM tuner, which stores up to 20 preset stations, the TAZ2000 also includes Bluetooth 6.0 for streaming from a smartphone or tablet. USB playback and a 3.5 mm audio input add further listening options, while Dynamic Bass Boost gives extra weight to lower frequencies. A built-in carrying handle and the choice of mains or battery power make it well suited to everyday use at home or away from a plug socket. The sleep timer can switch the player to standby after 15, 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes.
