Pianerosse Primitivo 2021

From Paolo Leo, Pianerosse Primitivo 2021 comes from a historic winery in the heart of Salento, Apulia in southern Italy. Founded by Paolo Leo and still run by the Leo family, the estate has evolved into a modern company with a fully computerised bottling line capable of bottling 6,000 bottles per hour.

In the glass, it shows a bright ruby colour with purple tinges. The perfume is fragrant, with hints of cherry and other red fruits. On the palate, expect soft tannins and a medium body, balanced by good acidity and a medium finish of red-fruit notes.
