Use off the shelf food safe cleaning or sterilization products or else there are some homemade solutions such as vinegar, soap, hot water, or baking soda that you can also use.

How do I keep my drink cold or hot for longer in my reusable bottle?

A simple yet very effective tip is to pre heat or pre cool the bottle before putting the actual beverage in it. Say you want to keep hot coffee in your bottle, put hot water in the bottle for around 15 minutes, thus preheating the bottle, remove the water and then add the coffee you want to take out with you. The same goes for cold beverages, this time however use ice cold water.
