The upper uses Isotex waterproof material with seam-sealed construction and an internal membrane bootee liner, while Hydropel water-resistant technology adds another layer of weather protection.

Comfort and stability are addressed through a deep padded neoprene collar, a mesh tongue and an EVA comfort footbed. The updated fit gives precise heel hold with more room at the toe, supported by a double eyelet lacing system for a secure feel. Rubberised toe and heel bumpers add durability, while stabilising shank technology and an internal EVA pocket help reduce weight and support the foot underfoot. A new rubber outsole completes the design with angled, self-cleaning lugs.
