It is easy to assemble and disassemble: screw in the plastic finial, connect the two aluminium poles, and secure the locking clips. The polyester canopy is easy to maintain with a simple wipe clean using a damp cloth or sponge, then allow to dry. For stability, it is recommended to use a sturdy base (sold separately) and to store the parasol away when not in use.
