The original, knee length military-trusted Worstead sock. Thermal and waterproof, the Worstead thrives in a range of environments. The Aquasealz™ hydrophilic membrane releases internal heat and moisture, simultaneously denying the intrusion of external elements. Handcrafted in the Sealskinz factory in Norfolk.

Technology

Outer – Extra-durable Polycolon exterior, with 4-way stretch for an optimal fit.

Mid-Section – Aquasealz™ 100% waterproof hydrophilic membrane releases moisture vapour from inside the sock.

Interior – Premium merino wool, with terry-loop knitting for extra comfort and sweat-wicking.

A seamless construction, with elastic support on the ankle, providing a close fit.

Activities

Our socks are built to last, overcoming the toughest of environments. Strong thermal properties are enhanced by interior terry-loop knitting, providing added warmth. As a waterproof, knee length sock, the Worstead thrives in the most extreme conditions. A sock designed for skiing, winter hiking, and other cold weather pursuits.

Materials and Construction

Handmade and hand tested in our Norfolk factory. Socks have undergone an in-depth testing process, demanding waterproofness and durability of fabric. A seamless construction requires an extraordinary attention to detail throughout the production process. Our Norfolk factory is a great example of British industry, championing small scale, sustainable production practices.

Our 100% waterproof socks are constructed using premium materials and by bonding three layers together to make one highly waterproof and breathable sock:

• Outer Layer - 90% Nylon, 10% Elastane

• Middle Layer - Aquasealz® waterproof membrane

• Inner Layer - 35% Merino Wool, 35% Acrylic, 23% Polyester, 3. 5% Nylon, 3. 5% Elastane

Care Guide

• Wash at 40ºC/105ºF

• Low Tumble Dry or Drip Dry

• Do Not Dry Clean, Iron, or Bleach
