Shire Charleston Summerhouse Hipped Roof

Designed as a refined garden retreat, the Shire Charleston Summerhouse is a 7 x 7 summerhouse that brings a calm, sheltered setting to outdoor living. Its hipped roof profile and glazed frontage make it well suited to everything from quiet downtime to a dedicated spot for hobbies or working in the garden.

Built from certified timber with 12mm shiplap wall cladding, it features double doors secured with a gate latch, plus 2 fixed and 2 opening windows glazed with glass. The roof is formed from 8mm OSB with green felt protection, while the floor uses 12mm matching material. Supplied flat-packed, it comes with instructions and fittings for self-assembly by two people.

Treatment & maintenance

The timber is dip-treated with a base coat for protection during transit and initial set-up. Apply a preservative and waterproofing topcoat immediately after installation, and continue with annual treatments to maintain the finish and support the anti-rot guarantee conditions.
