Clean-lined and practical, the Shire Elm Log Cabin brings contemporary pent-roof styling to a versatile garden building. Built by Shire with 19mm log walls, it creates a defined space that suits anything from a quiet garden retreat to a workshop setting.

Supplied in FSC® certified timber, the cabin includes 2 opening windows glazed with acrylic to bring in natural light and ventilation. Access is arranged with a combination of double and single doors, secured with a mortice lock and rim lock. Underfoot and overhead, 12mm tongue and groove timber is used for both the floor and roof, finished with grey felt roof protection.

Treatment & maintenance

• Floor bearer timber is supplied with an initial pressure treatment; all other timber is supplied untreated
• After assembly, treat the timber with a high-quality wood preservative and waterproofing solution and continue this treatment routinely for the life of the cabin
