About Snowdon Timber

Snowdon Timber was founded in 2019 by Jody Goode, who had spent eight years in the timber industry before starting the business from a small warehouse stocking timber from Europe. In the early days Jody ran the operation alone, taking orders during the day and delivering throughout North Wales in the evenings. Growth through the pandemic allowed the team to expand, and the introduction of reject timber — a cost-effective and sustainable product line that reduces waste — helped drive online sales across eBay, Amazon, B&Q and beyond.

Today Snowdon Timber operates from two sites: the Llandygai facility near Bangor, which serves customers across the UK, and the Mochdre outlet serving the local community. The business employs a team of 20 and is still led by Jody Goode alongside his son Artyom. In recognition of its growth, Snowdon Timber won the Growth Tool Champion Award from B&Q.

All timber is FSC and PEFC certified, sourced from responsibly managed forests and compliant with UK Timber Regulation and UK FLEGT requirements. Reject timber lines are available alongside clear grade products, offering a cost-effective and sustainable alternative that reduces waste without compromising on structural integrity. Ready-to-burn firewood is also available through the range.
