As a Wool Integrity NZ™ Brand Partner, Klippan uses ethically produced, mulesing-free New Zealand lambs wool, handled as gently as possible and washed with NPEO-free detergent. Chlorine-free processing keeps it free from added chemicals, and because it is not combined with synthetic fibres, it is naturally degradable and can be composted when you are finished with it.

Care

• Brush with a steel comb in the direction of the fibres using long, even strokes; do not brush too hard
• Air your bed by pulling back the throw with your duvet or sheet to help moisture evaporate
• Wash once or twice a year if used on top of a duvet or flat sheet; machine-wash on a cold wool-friendly cycle or handwash
• Not suitable for dry cleaning
• Hang to dry away from direct sunlight; gently reshape when slightly damp
• Not suitable for tumble-drying
• Use a cool iron to remove creases
• Use a detergent designed for woollens
• Avoid biological detergent, bleaches, stain removers and optical brighteners; some creams and washes may bleach, and make-up or bronzers may stain
