Drawn from dry-grown bush vines in the Wilson’s Pool vineyard, it is made from fruit grown on rich gravelly-loam soils and fermented naturally after whole-bunch pressing in seasoned French oak barriques.

The style is textural and full-flavoured, yet finely balanced. Fresh strawberry and rose water notes sit alongside subtle oyster shell, beeswax and Mourvèdre’s signature Szechuan pepper character. On the palate, rhubarb and pomegranate are matched by a satisfying creaminess, with pithy acidity and a bone-dry, briny finish.
