Developed under the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) programme, the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II arrives here as a Tamiya 1:48 scale plastic model assembly kit, depicting the A variant. With extensive research behind the tooling, it captures the aircraft’s distinctive surfaces and key structural areas, from the weapons bay and cockpit through to the landing gear bays and engine nozzle.

Build options allow the model to be configured with open or closed weapons bay covers and canopy, plus up or down flaps and an extended or retracted boarding ladder. A seated pilot figure with Helmet-Mounted Display (HMD) is included, alongside a selection of ordnance and nine marking options spanning multiple air arms, including the U. S. Air Force, Japan Air Self-Defence Force and Royal Norwegian Air Force.
